Lawson Screen & Digital Products is proud to congratulate Ben Landesman on his upcoming 60th anniversary of his first Screen Printing Association (SGIA) trade show.

Lawson Screen & Digital Products’ involvement with the screen printing industry dates back to the early printing days and includes some of the first SGIA shows. Gene Landesman, the founder of Lawson, had a deep and profound impact on the screen printing industry. Gene’s vision was to make screen printing simple, affordable and easy for people to start printing. During the early years of screen printing trade shows, Gene had a teenage Ben printing to demonstrate that “anyone can print with a Lawson.” Ben started his screen printing endeavor on the famous Lawson Automatic Power Squeegee Press.

Gene’s philosophy of manufacturing was passed onto both Ben and his younger brother David. “The boys” have embraced and enhanced their father’s vision of the screen printing industry. Gene, Ben & David have been honored with the prestigious Parmele Award in 1989 and 2008, respectively. SGIA’s Parmele Award is the highest honor the screen printing and graphic imaging industry has to offer. Gene, Ben and David were recognized for their dedication, accomplishment and ongoing commitment to improving the screen and digital printing industry’s products, services and image.

Come say hello to Ben, David or any of the other Lawson staff at SGIA Las Vegas 2018 in booth 2976 & 2977. Everyone at the Lawson family is dedicated to Making It Simple.
