Lawson’s Image Lock Pre-Treat Solution Gains Eco Passport by Oeko-Tex Certification

Lawson Screen & Digital Products, St. Louis, MO, is pleased to announce that Image Lock pre-treat solution recently received Eco Passport Certification by Oeko-Tex®. Image Lock is the only commercially available, Ready for Use (RFU) pre-treatment solution to have received this honor.

Eco Passport by Oeko-Tek® certifies that Image Lock RFU pretreatment solution meets exceptionally high safety standards. Lawson’s Image Lock formula protects consumers, textile industry workers and the environment from dangers by not using potentially harmful substances. Lawson’s Image Lock RFU is certified safe for adults and children, including babies.

As an Eco Passport Certified Product, independent, third-party analysis determined that Image Lock RFU is safe for the environment. Having met strict sustainability requirements and initiatives, Image Lock can be used in sustainable and environmentally responsible textile production as each Image Lock compound meets stringent sustainability, safety and regulatory criteria. Having gained the Eco Passport by Oeko-Tex® recognition, Image Lock is compliant with Reach and ZDHC guidelines. The Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) is a program committed to eliminating hazardous chemicals from textile production and manufacturing.

 

Image Lock RFU is a universal pre-treat solution for DTG printing on dark cotton material that works for all types of DTG inks, including the Epson SureColor F2000, Anajet, Brother and others. Advantages of Image Lock include better white ink coverage, brighter colors, softer hand, minimal staining and blocking, and fabulous wash fastness.
