At SGIA, LogoJet introduced its largest direct-to-substrate inkjet printer, the UVx90, capable of printing up to 24 x 36 in. The UV-LED printer can print a variety of objects, including dark and clear materials, up to 6 in. high in resolutions ranging from 720 to 1440 dpi. The eight-channel machine uses Epson Dx5 printheads and is configured to print CMYK, two channels of white, a texture-building primer, and a clear gloss overlay. It can also be customized to run dual-CMYK, CMYK plus four whites, etc.

The UVx90 features a sensor that adjusts the printhead height automatically, a vacuum bed for holding lightweight sheets in place, and Kothari RIP software that enables inline printing of color, white, and clear inks in up to six layers. Standard and custom product-holding jigs are available, as well as a rotary attachment for printing bottles.
