Océ’s new CS9200 Series low-solvent inkjet printers are available in 65- and 88-in. (1651- and 2235-mm) widths and are designed for producing P-O-P signage, vinyl and textile banners, vehicle graphics, exhibition displays, window graphics, and more. The CS9200 printers use low-solvent inks and reportedly offer superior color gamut, improved drying characteristics, and excellent lightfastness. Graphics are durable for three years outdoors without lamination. The devices can print at speeds up to 862 sq ft/hr (80 sq m/hr) and feature VariaDot imaging technology, which is engineered to produce dots from variable droplet sizes to deliver fine details, smooth gradients, and sharp images. With the WAVE Stitching feature, the CS9200 systems print in waves instead of bands, which Océ says results in higher print quality, improved productivity, and increased media versatility. The printers are equipped with a winder/unwinder system for media loading. Options include an air-purification system and an infrared dryer. Océ North America, 5450 N.
