MHM designed its new X-Type Plus automatic garment press, distributed exclusively in the US by Hirsch International (www.hirschinternational.com), to be fast, flexible, and compact.

The X-Type Plus has an overall diameter just under 12 ft in the eight-station model, yet it offers many features of the company’s larger machines. Its M-Touch Pro operating system uses a tablet interface with keypads at each print station to allow for faster adjustments during setup. Press operators have access to real-time technical support via the built-in Wi-Fi connection.

Each station has front and rear adjustments for print stroke and off-contact distance, independent flood/print speed controls, and squeegee-pressure regulators. Optional flash-cure units can be mounted onto any print station and flash adjustments can be made remotely from the tablet display to minimize downtime.

The X-Type Plus is available in six-, eight-, ten- and 12-color models with two print area sizes (16 x 20 in. and 18 x 20 in.).
