ColorGATE has made an upgrade for its color-management software available for free download at www.colorgate.com. Version 4.05 focuses on Speed Screen, a new stochastic raster technology designed to increase productivity in large-format-inkjet output. Speed Screen is available for ProductionServer4, PhotoGate4, and ProofGate4 applications. ColorGATE says Speed Screen can deliver a 400% increase in efficiency.
