With nearly 25,000 registered attendees, 800 exhibitors, and industry thought leaders from 115 countries and attendees from throughout the world, this year’s PRINTING United Expo featured hundreds of new equipment and supply offerings for screen printers to take their businesses to the next level.
New screen-print equipment advancements were abound with new features, along with inks and software to complement printers’ existing equipment and opportunities to upgrade to technologically advanced offerings. Following is a photo gallery of some of our newest finds.
Textile and apparel screen printing took center stage with new manual and automatic screen-printing presses, inks, and consumables.
Industry educator and coach Aaron Montgomery served as MC extraordinaire and host of the Expo’s first-annual Media Day.
The STAHLS’ Fulfill Engine presented the new print-on-demand capabilities that empower equipment manufacturers, diverse decoration methods, contract decorators, blank brands, suppliers, and sellers, says Josh Ellsworth, Chief Revenue Officer, Stahls’. “Convergence doesn’t have to mean consolidation,” he notes. “We’re committed to connecting the experts to make it possible.”
A highlight of the show was Screen Printing magazine’s ceremony for the 2024 Women in Screen Print Awards. Left to right are Letisha Allen, Veronica Anderson, Corinna Larson, Krissy Gibbons, Ella Vickerman, and Megan Griffith.
Another first for the Expo was the new Knowledge Center, where attendees could find booths representing the industry’s media as well as a center stage used for educational seminars, awards ceremonies, and the first annual DTFPrinting.com design competition.
As always, our friends at Stahls’ had several products on display, including the ProPlace IQ. This dual-platen press was designed to speed up heat pressing for transfers, DTG, and the burgeoning DTF transfer market.

Kornit premiered its most prestigious piece of DTG equipment to date in its new Apollo machine. This monster printer was designed to go along with the company’s mission to transform the fashion and textiles industry to on-demand, sustainable production.
The Women in Print Alliance luncheon always is a highlight of the show. Here, more than 200 female industry leaders gathered for a keynote speech and great networking of like-minded women in the printing industry.
The Apparel Zone was something to be seen, that had an old Vegas Strip theme with “storefronts’ that showed every apparel decoration process possible. There was even a faux chapel where attendees could get “married” by Elvis. See? He IS alive!
The Equipment Zone participated in the Apparel Zone with a cool vintage record shop theme to promote its DTG and DTF on-site education.
Visitors to Roland DGA’s booth were among the first to see new and innovative Roland DG inkjets like the EU-1000MF high-volume flatbed printer; new VersaOBJECT™ large-format and benchtop-sized UV flatbeds; new compact and powerful VersaSTUDIO desktop direct-to-film, UV technologies, and eco-solvent devices.

I ran into my great pal Brian Walker, of Image Armor, RTP Apparel, and the entrepreneur’s new line of T-shirts: UxPRINT. The line was developed the change the way the decorating industry thinks about promotional weight shirts.The US150 series of garments look, feel, and print like a high-quality 30/1 shirt.
