2015 is the first year The Academy has allowed industry experts other than existing members of the Academy to nominate candidates for induction into this prestigious industry organization. To be nominated and inducted into the Academy is held in high regard in the Specialty Printing industry. Each year the Academy selects only a few new members based on the nominee’s demonstrated ability, willing contributions to the education, advancements of technology and the contributions to the knowledge base of the screen and/or digital printing industry. The potential candidate would need to provide brief biographical information, industry education involvement, innovation documentation, industry expertise record, specialty knowledge and training contribution information. An expert may not nominate himself or herself, but the nominations are now open to the entire industry. The Academy invites all industry professionals to consider nominating experts that qualify.

Email Mike Ruff, Chairman of the Academy, mruff@mikeruffconsulting.com, Marci Kinter, marci@sgia.org or Johnny Shell at jshell@sgia.org if you are interested in nominating a deserving candidate.
