NUR Macroprinters, Lod, Israel, announced its plans to strengthen the company's presence in Mexico with the formation of NUR Mexico. The new office is a joint venture between NUR America, Inc. and Soluciones para Impresores S.A. de C.V.
NUR Mexico is based in a 600-sq-m facility in Monterrey and provides a range of sales and support services to NUR's customers throughout the country. The facility features a demonstration and training center and a support center, all staffed by Spanish-speaking staff. Ink and spare parts also are available at the facility. Juan Carlos Vega, a long-time representative of NUR America in Mexico, serves as managing director of the new venture.
"Our new facility in Monterrey means doing business with NUR Macroprinters in Mexico has just become a lot easier," says Nachum Korman, president of NUR America. "Along with a new demo center, we are expanding and strengthening our local staff presence to better serve the needs of our customers. Whether they need technical support, inks, consumables, spare parts, or administrative assistance, we have raised the bar of services we now offer in Mexico to a new, much higher level."
