OE-A Forecasts 17-Percent Sales Bump

The Organic and Printed Electronics Association has released its semi-annual Business Climate Survey, forecasting a 17-percent increase in sales revenue for 2017. In addition, about one third of OE-A members reported in a survey that they plan to increase their investments in expanding production, while 31 percent said they plan to hire additional staff in the next six months.

In a release, Chair Jeremy Burroughes points to smart packaging, flexible displays, OLED lighting, flexible solar cells, disposable diagnostic equipment, interactive games, and printed batteries as growing applications for printed electronics.
