Onyx Graphics, Inc. is expanding its educational offerings to included hands-on classroom training for its latest version of ONYX 11 including ONYX Thrive™ workflow software and ONYX ProductionHouse™, ONYX PosterShop® and ONYX RIPCenter™ RIP software. This is the only ONYX-certified course for end-users who are seeking to gain a complete understanding of the full potential of ONYX RIP software.

Classes, dubbed “Onyx End-User Certification Training,” are designed for a broad range of ONYX users and will provide in-depth, working knowledge of ONYX RIP software needed to optimize operator productivity. Each session will increase knowledge and provide guidance in an interactive training environment. Participants will learn about the entire workflow process from basic file submission through custom color profile creation. Attendees will become proficient in the ripping process as it pertains to ONYX software, learn how to automate repetitive tasks and maximize production efficiency with ONYX Quick Sets. Participants will complete the course with a working knowledge of spot color and specialty ink as well as best practices for color management.

“Investing in ONYX Certification sessions today can save both time and money in the future,” said Kevin Murphy, President and CEO of Onyx Graphics. “Print service providers typically experience decreases in waste while realizing an increase in production efficiency and profits after operators have received in-depth training. Improved customer satisfaction and a heightened competitive edge are also potential benefits resulting from our ONYX Certification training.”

Courses are led by an ONYX-certified instructor who will share valuable operator tips throughout each two-day session. The next two courses scheduled will be held February 3-4 in Torrance, CA and March 18-19 in Chicago. Enrollment is limited; early registration earns a $100 discount off the $595 rate per attendee.
