Onyx Graphics added support for the Mimaki JV5 series inkjet printers for Onyx ProductionHouse and PosterShop 7.0 software solutions. The JV5 series includes the JV5-130s and JV5-160s 54- and 64-in. (1372- and 1626-mm) wide-format solvent inkjet printers, which are equipped with newly developed printheads. Onyx says it developed the Mimaki JV5 driver and profiles to operate the printers at top performance capabilities. The Onyx driver supports printer settings and bidirectional status reporting for the JV5 series and will be included in all standard version 7.0 releases of ProductionHouse and PosterShop software.
