Orafol Acquires Rowland Technologies

Orafol Europe has announced its acquisition of Rowland Technologies, a Wallingford, Connecticut-based plastic manufacturer for a wide range of applications and industries. Previously a key supplier to Orafol, Rowland’s product range will now be integrated into the Orafol family, including RowTec polycarbonate film, SolaTurf impact-modified acrylic film, and Rowlux illusion film.

Orafol Europe has announced its acquisition of Rowland Technologies, a Wallingford, Connecticut-based plastic manufacturer for a wide range of applications and industries. Previously a key supplier to Orafol, Rowland’s product range will now be integrated into the Orafol family, including RowTec polycarbonate film, SolaTurf impact-modified acrylic film, and Rowlux illusion film. Orafol aims to enhance production capabilities, expand product offerings, and ensure quality standards for plastic, according to a release.

Rowland will continue operations under the name “Rowland Technologies, An Orafol Company” at its newly renovated 70,000-square-foot facility in Connecticut.
