MACtac says its line of PrintCover overlaminating films is a solution that provides the right price to value for short-term laminating projects. According to MACtac, PrintCover features an advanced adhesive system that is ideal for inkjet-printed short-term graphics, such as P-O-P signs, menus, and other promotional graphics. The overlaminate’s adhesion technology reportedly provides superior wet-out on UV-printed graphics. “PrintCover is revolutionary because it was designed to tackle the most challenging print surfaces on the market, to assist with production turnaround, and to overcome a gap that our customers identified in the products available to them,” says Mary Ann Kucera of MACtac Graphic Products. The overlaminate is described as having a tough polyester liner designed to eliminate rips and tears, create a super smooth adhesive coating for glass-like lamination, and decrease lamination process over time. The 1.0-mil polyester overlaminate film is available in high-gloss and low-glare matte finishes and is designed to protect indoor and outdoor short-term graphics from UV light, moisture, scratching, and scuffing.
