ST Media Group International has selected Phoenix as the location for the 2012 Signage and Graphics Summit (SGS), the premiere educational and networking event for producers of on-premise signage, outdoor advertising, and promotional graphics and displays. The conference will be held January 23-25, 2012, at the Arizona Grand Resort.

“We’re excited to bring SGS to Phoenix for the first time,” said Tedd Swormstedt, president of ST Media Group.“ There is a strong signage and graphics community in the area to tap into, and flight options will make travel convenient for our loyal attendees from across the United States. We think the location, combined with the exciting enhancements we’re making to our program, will enable us to have the strongest SGS yet.”

SGS is designed specifically for presidents, CEOs, COOs, and other top executives of high-productivity signage and graphics companies. The conference features dynamic keynote sessions, thought-provoking panel discussions, peer-to-peer roundtable sessions for exchanging best-practice ideas in a noncompetitive environment, and other exclusive networking opportunities.

ST Media Group will be adding a variety of new program components in 2012 to enhance the SGS community, provide new educational programming, and generate additional networking opportunities designed to enhance attendee/sponsor synergies. Among the enhancements:

• An invitation-only discussion group in LinkedIn to help attendees network effectively with the SGS community throughout the year.
• New incentives to make attendance more affordable.
• “SGS Match” meetings that will allow sponsors to meet privately with select attendees in provided suites during the conference.
• Regular SGS webinars including opportunities for sponsors to present live white papers promoted to SGS alumni and other users of ST Media Group’s signage and graphics publications and websites.
• An invitation-only cocktail party held during the SGIA show in New Orleans in October 2011.

“When we launched SGS in 2006, we created a new forum for executives of high-volume signage and graphics companies,” said Steve Duccilli, group publisher for ST Media Group’s signage and graphics division. “The educational program has always been very well-received, but we’ve learned that the biggest benefit for many attendees is the ability to have serious discussions with such a tightly targeted group of peers. We’ll be doing more throughout the year to help the SGS community benefit from the networking opportunities that make the event unique.”

SGS is sponsored by Signs of the Times, The Big Picture, and Screen Printing magazines. Its educational program is crafted by the editors of these industry-leading magazines to ensure timely coverage of the most-pressing topics for the leaders of high-volume signage and graphics producers. Vendors are only permitted to participate through one of the limited number of sponsorships that are available.

Prospective sponsors may call group publisher/sales manager, Steve Duccilli, at 513-263-9344/800-925-1110, ext. 344 for details. You can also email Steve at steve.duccilli@stmediagroup.com.
