Sheffield Plastics recently introduced Makrolon LD, a polycarbonate sheet designed to diffuse light in falt and thermoformed electronic signs. Sheffield says the material eliminates hot spots, reduces shadowing, and is tougher than acrylic sign materials. It’s available in two standard white colors, a full range of gauges, sheet sizes, and sign reels.
