Aqua Based Technologies formulated its AquaTack 1110 water-based pressure-sensitive adhesive for balanced peel adhesion and shear attributes. It reportedly provides highly effective adhesion, even at lower coating weights. AquaTack 1110 can be used at film thicknesses of 0.0005-0.001 in. (0.0127-0.0254 mm) or 8-16 lbs/ream, compared to standard adhesives coated at 16-25 lbs/ream.
