SolvoTex PVC Standard Blockout is Neschen Americas’ newest media offering for billboards, backdrops, awnings, banners, trade-show exhibits, and double-sided graphics applications. The 100%-polyester media has a PVC coating on both sides and an opaque blockout liner designed to allow double-sided printing with no shadows, wash-out or bleed-through. Neschen reports that SolvoTex PVC Standard Blockout is certified fire resistant per NFPA 701 2004 Test #2 for use in indoor public displays. The company also notes that the media resists damage from fungus and UV exposure in outdoor applications. SolvoTex PVC Standard Blockout can be printed with solvent, eco-solvent and UV-curable inks. It’s also designed to drape smoothly without waves. The media is available in roll sizes from 20 in. x 10 ft to 189 in. x 164 ft (508 mm x 6.1 m to 4801 mm x 50 m).
