It allows users to check page elements, colors, traps, knockouts, and overprints before they commit to the print run. Adobe Accurate Screens and Agfa Balanced Screening functions are designed to provide consistent screens and clean halftone spots. Other features include imagesetter linearization and press-dot-gain compensation, PDF 1.5 support, Raster View full output resolution preview with ink-usage calculator and CIP 3 support, and the ability to add crop marks, registration marks, and color bars at the RIP. Additional features include advanced color proofing, custom job queuing with drag and drop, idiom recognition, job history, and 136 Adobe PostScript 3 standard fonts. Optional features include OpenRIP Remote, In-Rip trapping, KOOLKolor Proofing, KOOLToning Halftone Simulator, StripRITE Raster Imposition, AdvancedScan, PerfectBLEND Hybrid Screening, and Optional Output.
