Roland DGA has announced the launch of its imagiNation 2014 end-user conference, a one-day event designed to inspire, educate, and empower Roland inkjet printer owners and operators. The conference will be co-located with the SGIA Expo, on October 21, 2014, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

“Our customers love their Roland printers and printer/cutters, and they’ve helped us grow and establish ourselves in the sign market,” says Roland DGA president Rick Scrimger. “This conference will not only assist Roland users in getting the most out of their advanced inkjets, it will also supply them with expert advice and innovative ideas they can apply in the real world to maximize overall performance, creativity, efficiency, and profitability.”

Conference attendees will have the option of following one of four workshop tracks:
• Productivity and Business Management Track;
• New Applications Track;
• Software and Design Track; or
• Color Management Track.

Alternately, attendees will be able to create a custom curriculum. In all, Roland reports, the 16 individual sessions will cover a wide variety of subjects, ranging from “100 New Ways to Print and Cut with your Roland” and “Expanding into Apparel Decoration” to “Designing for Wide Format” and “Working with Spot Colors.”

The imagiNation 2014 conference’s keynote address will be by Nascar racing team owner and Roland user Richard Childress.

“It doesn’t matter whether you’re a small print service provider just starting out or a large operation, you’ll walk away from imagiNation with new information and skills that will prove to be invaluable to your business,” says event coordinator Dede Sabey.

Registration fee is $195 per person, which includes breakfast, lunch, and a cocktail reception; discounts are available for “early bird” registrants.
