The Orange County Register has once again named Roland DGA Corporation, a leading provider of advanced wide-format printers and other innovative digital devices, one of Orange County’s “Top Workplaces.” This marks the seventh time that Orange County’s largest newspaper has recognized Roland DGA as a top workplace within the region.

The selection of companies as top workplaces is based solely on surveys completed by their employees. These employee surveys, which were administered by WorkplaceDynamics, LLC, an independent firm that specializes in health and workplace improvement, take into consideration several key elements that contribute to employee satisfaction, including meaningfulness of work, leadership strength, training, workplace flexibility and diversity, social responsibility, and more. This year, the survey included participation from 27,743 employees who responded anonymously to 24 statements that define their workplace environment. Based on this feedback, a total of 125 companies were chosen as “Top Workplaces” for 2016.

According to Doug Claffey, CEO of Workplace Dynamics, the Top Workplaces award isn’t a popularity contest that’s all about fancy perks and benefits. “To be a Top Workplace, organizations must meet our strict standards for organizational health,” noted Claffey. “And who better to ask about work life than the people who live the culture every day – the employees.”

“It’s a great honor to, once again, receive this kind of recognition, especially knowing that it comes from our employees,” said Andrew Oransky, president of Roland DGA. “We strive to create and maintain an open, inclusive environment that motivates, inspires and enables everyone who works here to reach their full potential.”

The Orange County Register published its complete list of Top Workplaces for 2016 on December 9.
