The TrueVis brand leverages four newly developed FlexFire printheads, designed to more flexibly control the metallic plate attached to the ink chamber for a higher firing frequency, with three droplet sizes and a 25% wider print swath as compared to previous Roland models.

In addition, the company’s TrueVis inks are designed specifically for the FlexFire heads in 7- (CMYKcmk) or 8-color (CMYKcmk + white) configurations. They are also GreenGuard Gold certified for low VOC emissions.

The VG-540 and -640 offer production speeds up to 374.6 sq ft/hr in dual-CMYK configuration; up to 1 L of ink per color can be loaded for unattended printing. Potential applications include vehicle graphics, banners, posters, displays, packaging prototypes, apparel heat transfers, and more.

Additional features include Roland VersaWorks Dual RIP software, compatible with native PDFs, legacy PostScript files, and files with transparencies; Roland DG MobilePanel; and LED lights within the machine for status checks, maintenance, and color-coded operation updates.
