Users of SubliJet-R Ricoh SG 3110DN and SG 7100DN printers have a powerful, newly updated tool for color management with the release of Sawgrass Technologies’ PowerDriver 4. This long-awaited update to the software relied upon by thousands worldwide has been designed to make managing color fast, easy and reliable for sublimators of all skill levels.

"We are constantly refining our products to provide our customers with the best user experience possible," said Patrick McGinnis, Director of Product Marketing. "PowerDriver 4 is our most-advanced color management software to-date, and combines the familiar look of our legacy version with powerful new tools to make creating great prints easier than ever."

PowerDriver 4 was developed specifically for SubliJet-R desktop sublimation users and allows them to easily produce accurate, brilliant color, print after print. Access to this free, user-friendly software is included with every SubliJet-R ink purchase and comes with lifetime technical support.

This newest version of PowerDriver is dramatically faster and easier to install and use. Through the simplified user interface, users can access Material, Color, Utilities and Resources program functions. A new mouse-over function provides brief descriptions about menu and selection options and how to make selections. For international users, the interface offers language options in English, Spanish, German, Turkish, French and Italian.

In response to customer requests for more control over the color and output of images, PowerDriver 4 offers new slider-bar adjustment controls for color hue, brightness, contrast and saturation levels. These powerful features allow users to adjust images to a level never before possible.

Need to match a spot color for a local school or a customer’s logo? PowerDriver 4’s ColorSure Spot Color Matching Wizard gets the job done quickly and easily. This new wizard-powered tool enables users to identify, validate and save critical spot colors to the ColorSure Palette.

In PowerDriver 4, users can specify options for a special print requirement or application, and then combine them into a single custom setting that can be saved in the pre-set menu for future use. Additionally, PowerDriver 4 features pre-configured pre-sets for printing popular products such as mugs, mouse pads, polyester t-shirts, phone cases and products from UniSub and ChromaLuxe.

Finally, PowerDriver 4 now offers a Remote Support Access feature. When activated, customers are connected directly to Sawgrass Technical Support, which can perform advanced troubleshooting and expedited set-up assistance directly on a user’s computer.

On June 24, Sawgrass will host "PowerDriver – The Simple Sublimation Color Management Tool," a free webinar that explains what’s new with this latest version of the software and how to use it for optimal sublimation printing.
