CPS Aquawash LS 180 is a screen wash concentrate developed for cleaning UV-curable, solvent-based, and textiles inks from screens prior to reclaiming. The product is offered by CPS, the specialty chemical division of MacDermid Autotype. The company explains that CPS Aquawash LS 180 was specifically designed for compliance with the latest regulations from the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) in Southern California. CPS Aquawash produces a reported VOC content of 90 g/l, when diluted one-to-one with water. The product can be used with CPS Haze Remover HV, a low-caustic haze formulation, to clean heavy-staining inks and meet the requirements set by SCAQMD.
