Neschen Americas and SEAL brand products donated films for use in the Lachine Canal Outdoor Photo Exhibition in Montreal, Canada. The exhibition is part of Montreal Green, a project that celebrates nature within the urban landscape with the objective of raising awareness about protecting natural spaces amidst the pressures of urban development.

According to Neschen, the project started with two photographers traversing the island of Montreal to collect powerful images testifying to the enormous natural beauty and bio-diversity of southern Quebec. Eighteen large-format images (44 x 66 in.) were produced from the photos, courtesy of Epson Canada, using an Epson Stylus Pro 9880 printer and Premium Luster paper. The images were mounted to 0.75-in. MDF using SEAL Print Mount Ultra and were overlaminated with SEAL Print Shield Standard UV Luster.

The mounting and laminating was done by Lamination Visuel Inc. using a technique in which the laminate is wrapped around the edges of the substrate to protect against water/moisture invasion. The finished images were then mounted in kiosks along the north side of Lachine Canal at the Atwater Market Place. The exhibit ran July 5 to October 15, 2008.
