Sefar Printing Solutions Hosts Membrane Switch Symposium Plant Tour

Published

on

SGIA held its annual Membrane Switch Symposium in St. Paul, MN from June 3-5. The event brings together suppliers and membrane-switch screen printers for a couple days to share a game of golf, continue their education through technical seminars, and catch up on the latest manufacturing trends at supplier trade show booths. As part of the Membrane Switch Symposium program, local manufacturers are selected to provide plant tours to the attendees. In 2008, Sefar Printing Solutions' Arden Hills, MN facility was selected as a host for one of the plant tours.

The tour consisted of four different stations that focused on key solutions that Sefar Printing Solutions, Inc. can provide for the membrane-switch screen printer: artwork generation (CAD photoplotting), screen-stretching services, and screen coating and digital imaging (StencilMaster direct-to-screen solutions). Sefar reports that what impressed the guests the most was to learn that the company has what it describes as the largest capacity for stretched screens in North America—delivering more than 100,000 screens each month from their four ISO 9001 Certified locations.
