SGIA Heads to Kentucky for SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference

SGIA is gearing up for the 51st annual SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference (Louisville, Kentucky, June 22–26), where more than 16,000 people will participate in a showcase of career and technical education students.

 

SGIA is gearing up for the 51st annual SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference (Louisville, Kentucky, June 22–26), where more than 16,000 people will participate in a showcase of career and technical education students.

 

SkillsUSA, an industry partner of SGIA, is a national organization serving teachers and high school and college students who are preparing for careers in technical, skilled and service occupations — including specialty imaging. The conference includes the SkillsUSA Championships on June 24 and 25, where state contest winners will compete in 100 different trade, technical and leadership fields at the national level.

SGIA will be there to support the state winners in the Screen Printing and Graphic Imaging — Sublimation category with a $250 check for their accomplishment, as well as to encourage them as they compete in the national championship.
