The Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA), Fairfax, VA, publicly recognized at the SGIA ’06 Keynote Luncheon the members who have donated materials and equipment this year in support of the educational and research efforts of the Screen Printing Technical Foundation (SPTF).  SGIA awarded Certificates of Appreciation to Stretch Devices Inc., Russell Corp., Shur-Loc, Rutland Plastic Technologies, A.W.T. World Trade Inc., Chromaline, KIWO Inc., MacDermid Autotype Inc., Murakami Screen USA Inc., Nazdar, Russell Corp., SaatiPrint USA, Sefar Printing Solution Inc., and U.S. Screen Print and Inkjet Technology. Certificates of Merit were presented to Albatross USA Inc., Intercontinental Chemical Corp., Fujifilm Sericol USA Inc., Pleiger Plastics Co., Sprayway Inc., Ulano Corp., UV Process Supply Inc., and Union Ink Co. Inc.

Hanes Printables, Mitch Different, and US Screen and Inkjet Technology received Distinguished Service Awards. Sefar Printing Solutions Inc. and X-Rite Inc. were recognized for equipment donations and loans. Several workshop instructors were recognized, including J.R. Bennett (Nazdar), Tim Chaffman (Easiway Systems), Dave Dennings (KIWO), Art Dobie (Sefar), Paul Drago (Ulano), Mick Orr (Chromaline), Mike Ruff (Nazdar), Charlie Taublieb (Taublieb Consulting), and Bron Wolff (Serigraph Inc.).
