The Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA), Fairfax, VA, revamped its Surveys and Statistics page at www.sgia.org. The page features an “Industry at a Glance” section that allows visitors to find the latest financial figures for the screen and digital markets. The site’s inaugural “Business Growth Plans Survey” gauges the projected growth of printing businesses for 2006 and beyond and evaluates what equipment is being purchased. The “Operating Ratio Study” is a bi-annual investigation that involves a complete check-up on the financial health of individual participants, as well as the entire market. The new site will feature a bi-monthy column by Alaina Harris, SGIA business information associate. The column will cover pressing issues for the screen and garment industries. Guest columnists also will contribute articles on the forefront of the specialty graphics industry.
