CADlink’s latest release of its SignLab software offers a redesigned front end and Visual Production Manager, a new back-end queue system. SignLab v.8 also includes an additional 75 special-effects plugins and comes bundled with a bitmap-editing application. Visual Production Manager is a multiple queue, multiple printer system for digitally imaged signage. It includes automated job-management settings for high-volume production and can be run manually for custom signage. Other SignLab 8 features include HalfCut, an automated decal creator for print/cut devices, as well as Color Vectorization Wizard, which redrewas bitmaps as line art.
