If you’re looking for bright, vibrant color and rapid production speeds, you may find what you need in Fujifilm’s Vybrant series of solvent printers. Vybrant printers are fully motorized and are equipped with a media unwinding/winding device that is capable of handling substrates in excess of 300 lbs (136 kg) for unattended printing. Automatic head-height adjustment allows the Vybrant to accommodate substrates ranging in thickness from 0.098-0.177 in. (2.5-4.5 mm). With variable pressure rollers, the printer can support a range of flexible media up to 10 ft (3.1 m) wide. Vybrant printers feature Spectra 256-nozzle printheads, dual heating elements, and production speeds up to 800 sq ft/hr (74 sq m/hr) at 360 dpi. The printers use Fujifilm Sericol’s Color+ inks, which offer up to five years of outdoor durability without lamination. Vybrant printers also are equipped with a self-cleaning system and a capping station that allows ink to remain in the printheads overnight to assist users with faster start-up the next day.
