M&R developed its Accu-Stroke to help operators ensure consistency in squeegee angle and pressure throughout the print cycle on M&R’s Chameleon and Sidewinder manual presses. The system features a grip designed to reduce operator fatigue, as well as off-contact support for squeegee-pressure control. It works with screen up to 36 in. (914 mm) long and is compatible with side and rear clamps. Accu-Stroke requires an automatic-style squeegee holder (sold separately). Manual-style hand clamps (included) are used to attach the squeegee holder to the Accu-Stroke system. Pressure adjustments are tool free, and angle adjustments are made with a hex wrench. M&R says Accu-Stroke can be easily attached and removed without tools once its main mounting fixture is in place. The system is available separately or as an option on new Chameleon and Sidewinder presses.
