STAHLS’ Launches 2025 Scholarship to Empower Small Businesses and Schools

(PRESS RELEASE) ST. CLAIR SHORES, MI – STAHLS’ announces the Stahl Family Scholarship for 2025, marking five years of empowering entrepreneurs and schools with cutting-edge heat-printing technology. Since its launch in 2020, the scholarship has awarded more than $100,000 worth of equipment to 37 winners, helping small businesses and educational programs turn their dreams into reality.

In 2025, STAHLS’ continues this tradition by awarding eight Dream Shop Packages throughout the year. Each quarter, two winners — one small business and one school — will receive a comprehensive heat-printing package valued at more than $6,000. This initiative is designed to help winners expand their decorating capabilities, grow their businesses, and inspire the next generation of apparel decorators.

Each Dream Shop Package includes a Hotronix Fusion IQ heat press and a 360 IQ® hat press, along with essential platens, accessories, and expert training. Winners also will receive virtual consultations, access to Fulfill Engine software, and a product credit for use at STAHLS’ or Transfer Express.

“STAHLS’ began more than 90 years ago in a small garage in Detroit,” says Dan Stahl, President of the Stahl Family Scholarship. “Like so many aspiring decorators, my family had a dream: to build a successful apparel decoration business. Thanks to hard work, dedication, and the incredible support of our customers, that dream became a reality. Today, STAHLS’ stands as a leader in the industry, and we’re proud to give back to the community that made it all possible.”

“By providing us with new materials, and freshening up our heat-printing skills, the winnings from the scholarship played a huge role in allowing us to provide more vocational opportunities in heat printing to individuals in the disabled community,” says 2022 winner Jared Kendall from Hub City Ink in Lubbock, Texas. “Not only has the STAHLS’ team made a difference in our business, but they’ve helped us change the lives of people in our community.”
