While the look of embroidered appliqué twill lettering and numbers offers a high-quality, professional look for team uniforms, it costs more and takes more time to produce than other forms of heat applied decorations.

With new Pre-Spaced SimStitch® Letters and Numbers, STAHLS’ has found a great alternative for shops that want to offer the high-quality look of sewn twill, but either do not own an embroidery machine or they need to keep costs down for their customers. In this new video, Josh Ellsworth, well-known STAHLS’ educator and senior vice president, shows how easy it is to use and apply to a baseball jersey.

Ellsworth demonstrates how much faster the pre-spaced version can be positioned and applied vs. loose pieces. He also offers tips such as using a pillow on top of the platen and under the Quick Slip Platen Protector that allows the buttons to be absorbed into the pillow to create a better bond.
