Workhorse Products’ new universal quartz flash unit is equipped with a proximity sensor that detects platen motion and activates the flash-cure device. It uses short-wave quartz technology and a combination quartz air system engineered to eliminate the need for a cool-down station. The heating element features three zones designed for flashing a left chest print (one zone), a youth shirt (two zones), or a full or oversize adult shirt (three zones). A protective hood prevents operator injury, and casters allow the quartz flash to be moved into position and locked into place. The system also is height adjustable. The quartz flash is available in 20 x 24 in. (508 x 610 mm) with 55 amps and 20 x 32 in. (508 x 813 mm) with 70 amps in 220-v, three phase.
