Vastex recently upgraded its DB-18 and DB-30 dryers with heating controls that can be adjusted from 1-6 (low to high). The adjustable heat allows the operator to accommodate fabrics such as polyester, dazzle cloth, transfers, and other products that need more time and less heat. Both dryers are 4 ft (1.2 m) long. The DB-18 single-chamber dryer has an 18-in.-wide (457-mm) conveyor belt. The DB-30 has a 30-in. (762-mm) belt. Both now feature variable DC belt-speed control and an IR-focusing control. Both also come standard with X-series belt tracking and have a 2- to 7-in. (51- to 178-mm) adjustable belt-to-heater clearance.
