“I know print shops around the world are going to go crazy for a true 1200-dpi grand-format printer,” says Hary Gandy, of Gandinnovations. The company subjected its Jeti 3150 UV flatbed and Jeti 3324 UV roll-to-roll printers to some R&D in order to double the units’ maximum supported imaging resolution. Gandinnovations says the new 1200-dpi option will not increase the price of the UV inkjet printers. The company’s solvent units support resolutions up to 600 dpi.
