Raster Printers says its RP-720UVZ UV-curable flatbed/roll printer offers the highest image quality and best price performance. The 800-dpi system prints UV-curable ink directly onto coated and uncoated roll and rigid substrates up to 1 in. (25.4 mm) thick at 720 x 800-dpi addressable resolution and speeds up to 270 sq ft/hr (25 sq m/hr). The RP-720UVZ is equipped with SE-128 Spectra piezo printheads that jet up to six colors with an apparent resolution of 1440 dpi. The inks are formulated to be environmentally friendly, durable outdoors for up to three years, and compatible with Gator, MDO, Fome-Cor, CoroPlast, vinyl, canvas, paper, and fabrics. Roll-printing features include automatic take-up and supply roll, support for 2- or 3-in. (51- or 76-mm) media cores, and sheet-fed printing.
