Bordeaux Digital Printink, an industry leader in developing, manufacturing and marketing high quality original inks, coatings and solutions, launched new printer specific UV curable and Eco solvent inks during SGIA Expo in Las Vegas, from October 22-24 2014.

Bordeaux introduced its new flexible UV curable ink, PLASMA AC™, the first printer specific solution for Fujifilm® Acuity™ series printers. PLASMA AC is a Mix & Match ink, chemical and color compatible with Uvijet™ KI ink, offering better flexibility, greater adhesion and long lasting durability on sign and display, specialty and industrial applications. The ink is sold in compatible 2L bags with dedicated chip for zero-downtime installation.

“Plasma AC was a major attraction. Our visitors were impressed with its image quality and easy installation,” says Erez Shoshani, General Manager at Bordeaux Inc., the US subsidiary of Bordeaux Digital Printink. “A printer specific ink, like PLASMA AC, is formulated to enhance a specific printer model and is marketed with a dedicated chip and OEM equivalent packaging. We received quite a few orders for PLASMA AC during SGIA and expect even more interest throughout the year,” concludes Mr. Shoshani.

Bordeaux’s full output printing demonstration showcased the Company’s one-stop-shop capabilities. This included pretreatment with CLEAR adhesion promoters for glass and plastic, followed by digital printing with Bordeaux’s newest industrial UV curable ink. The final stage included post-treatment with high performance CLEAR gloss and matte coatings, proven to extend the print life on all flexible and rigid substrates.

Visitors also discovered FUZE ECO PR4, Eco solvent ink, formulated specifically for the Roland® SOLJET™ Pro4 XR640 printer. In addition to being 100% compatible to OEM ink, Bordeaux’s FUZE ECO solvent inks can replace one OEM color at a time, simplifying conversion and offering a greater cost savings.
