Mutoh has announced a new UV-LED hybrid printer, built with a staggered dual printhead design and dual UV lamps for improved print and cure speeds. The ValueJet 1638UH prints on roll or rigid material up to a ½ in. thick at speeds up to 220 sq ft/hr. For rigid media, the machine features front and rear tables. Applications include package prototyping, P-O-P displays, and interior signage.

Users can also choose an optional SpectroVue VM-10 spectrophotometer and an optional media take-up system.
