VUTEk, Meredith, NH, entered an exclusive partnership with Malaga, Spain-based Códice Transfer Factory to leverage Códice’s Double System Control Visual (DSCV) technology. DSCV is designed to produce eye-catching graphic effects for interior and exterior advertising applications.

The DSCV technology consists of DSCV Static and DSCV Dynamic. The companies describe DSCV Static as a technology that prints one-way, see-through graphics for privacy, security, practicality, or visual-interest applications. Static uses VUTEk’s PressVu UV printer and CMYK inks and a specially formulated white UV ink. From one side, viewers see a crisp, clean image; on the other side, viewers can see right through. DSCV Dynamic allows for the display of two or three images with exposure times between two and 14 seconds. A combination of light level and transitions of video quality allows for the creation of a visual sensation of a plasma screen.

DSCV technology is standard on all PressVu UV printers. Early PressVU models can be upgraded. For more information, contact VUTEk Inc., One VUTEk Pl., Meredith, NJ 03253, 603-279-4635, fax: 603-279-6411, Web: www.vutek.com.
