FUJIFILM North America Corp. recently unveiled the Acuity Advance HS-X2 wide-format UV inkjet printer. It supports a maximum print area of 98 x 120 in. (2489 x 3048 mm), comes standard with a a dual zoning system with independent vacuum control, prints at speeds of more than 700 sq ft/hr in the new Express mode, and uses Fujifilm’s Uvijet ink with Micro-V dispersion technology. According to Fujifilm, the Advance HS-X2 is so versatile an operator can prepare rigid material on the flatbed while the roll-media option prints.
