The Jeti 3348 UV Jetstream is Gandinnovations’ newest wide-format roll-to-roll inkjet printer. It features 48 Spectra printheads, 300-dpi imaging resolution, and a maximum print speed of 2500 sq ft/hr (232 sq m/hr). The printer accommodates media up to 126 in. (3200 mm) wide on rolls as large as 12 in. (305 mm) in diameter on 3-in. (76.2-mm) cores. Among the compatible media suggested for use with the Jetstream are reinforced and pressure-sensitive vinyls, canvas, fabrics, mesh, 100%-PE materials, and paper. The printer uses UV inks that Gandinnovations rates as having a one-year shelf life. Included with the inkjet printer are a roll lifter and a built-in rewind (take-up) unit and safety guards. A modular backlit camera unit is available as an option. its operator console consists of an adjustable shelf with keyboard, mouse, and monitor. Supported platforms include Windows, Macintosh, and Linux. Users may select from Wasatch SoftRIP, Onyx, or Caldera software to manage print operations. The printer supports Ethertalk and TCP/IP and can be networked on 10/100/1000 Mb/sec Ethernet.
