EFI says it developed the VUTEk GS3250r to bring the cost savings and flexibility of solvent-based inks to a completely new UV-curable platform. The 10.5-ft-wide (3.2-m) supports imaging resolution up to 1000 dpi and maximum print speed of 1195 sq ft/hr (111 sq m/hr). According to EFI, dual-roll capability, multiqueue functionality, and double-sided printing combine to give this machine the productivity of a roll-fed system. The printer uses a six-color (CMYKLcLm) inkset. Inks are supplied in 5-l containers. It supports flexible media up to 126.5 in. (3.2 m) wide and up to 0.125 in.
