15-Year Heater Warranty

Vastex International has increased the heater warranty on its dryers and flash cure units to 15 years, it was announced by Mark Vasilantone, president. According to Vasilantone, the previous Vastex warranty of 10 years, already the longest in the screen printing industry, was extended an additional 5 years due to the extreme durability of the company’s proprietary heating system.

"The longevity of infrared heaters for textile drying/curing depends not only on the quality of the heaters, but also on their operating environment, which Vastex has engineered to maximize component longevity as well as drying efficiency," he says.
The 15-year heater warranty is now standard across the company’s entire line of infrared conveyor dryers ranging in capacity from 60 to 900 garments/hour, and flash cure units. Dryers carrying the 15-year heater warranty as standard include: all-new D100 dryers; DriBox compact entry-level dryers with 18 and 30 in. (46 and 76 cm) belt widths; DriBox II entry-level dryers with 18 and 30 in. (46 and 76 cm) belt widths; EconoRed I compact production dryers with 30 and 54 in. (76 and 137 cm) belt widths; EconoRed II high production dryers with 30 and 54 in. (76 and 137 cm) belt widths; and BigRed V ultra-high production dryers with 30 and 54 in. (76 and 137 cm) belt widths. The dryers contain anywhere from one infrared heater per chamber for the smallest tabletop dryers, to four heaters per chamber for the largest dryers, all of which can be increased in capacity by adding chambers and extending belts.
Flash cure units carrying the new warranty include: F-100 entry-level and F-1000 mid-level models; RedFlash premium 18SQ, 18SQ HO and 1824 models; and AirFlash 18 and 1824 models.
The company also offers a 25-year warranty on heavy-duty screen printing presses, said to be the industry’s longest coverage in the category. "It’s easy to claim that your equipment is durable, but another thing entirely to guarantee it," Vasilantone adds.
Vastex also manufactures screen exposing units, screen drying cabinets, washout booths and complete screen printing shop systems, and offers a comprehensive range of training classes for entry level, intermediate and advanced screen printers.
