3M Offers PVC-Free Controltac Alternative

3M has added 3M Envision Print Film 48C, a PVC-free alternative to the company’s Controltac 40C material. The intermediate film is designed for window, wall, floor, and partial vehicle graphics, signage, and more. Features include tear resistance, bubble-free removal, and 3M Comply Adhesive for air release.

3M has also engineered 3M Envision Gloss Overlaminate 8048G and Matte Overlaminate 8050M, companion laminates for the new film.

The company reports the material is durable up to 5 years indoors and outdoors (3 months for floor graphics). It is available in 54-in. widths.
