AnaJet Reveals Direct-to-Garment Printer

Ricoh Ri 1000 features automated maintenance routines.

AnaJet has introduced the Ricoh Ri 1000 direct-to-garment printer, which prints full-color graphics at 1200 x 1200 dpi at speeds up to 28 sec. for a 10 x 8-in. graphic on a variety of materials. The unit, which uses Ricoh printheads, features quick-change magnetic platens available in sizes up to 16 x 19.6 in.; automated maintenance for regular printhead cleaning and white ink agitation; continuous monitoring of ink supply, air level, and dampers; and a 7-in. touch screen with Interactive Operation Guide, which alerts users of any required manual maintenance tasks.
