2018 PRINT Innovation Exchange focuses on how to ‘think differently’

This new event by APTech was focused on industry leadership and technology geared to radicalize business strategy and address the challenges of change. Thought-provoking futurist, inventor and hacker Pablos Holman of Intellectual Ventures led out with his keynote: “Innovate or Die Trying.” Wayne Peterson, Black Canyon Consulting Group, Inc. guided a discussion titled, “UnSquaring: Is Your Business Model Crippling Your Future?” based on the ground-breaking book, UnSquaring the Wheel, he co-authored with Dr. Joe Webb and Prof. Chris Bondy.

“An organization’s culture reflects the lessons learned over time,” said Prof. Maury Peiperl, Dean, George Mason University-School of Business. “We should expect, therefore, that any changes in culture will take a significant amount of time and will come from the full experience, including the history, context, and not just upper management.” Peiperl led a series of sessions throughout the event addressing transformational leadership and embedding culture into the way organizations do business.

Clemson University’s Dr. Nona Woolbright led Breakfast with PRIMIR “Attracting New Talent to the Industry.” This was a ‘hot topic’ throughout the event as it is a critical issue the printing and graphic communications industry is facing.
