Aqueous Coating

Aqua Based Technologies formulated its Aqua Cote 1550, for application to plasticized-vinyl. The water-based coating is also designed to provide excellent ink adhesion and abrasion resistance. Aqua Based Technologies says the dried coating’s surface is extremely durable and surpasses most product-resistance specifications. Aqua Cote 1550 can also be applied to polyester, polyethylene, foil, nylon, paper, and board. Aqua Based Technologies recommends corona treatment to achieve highest adhesion levels.
