The Academy of Screen Printing Technology (ASPT) recently recognized young printing talent in its annual competition for students by awarding cash prizes, plaques, and more to those whose work represented the best of its class. Last year, the ASPT renamed its annual printing competition for students in honor of the late Tom O. Frecska, who served as editor of Screen Printing magazine for many years and championed screen-printing education. The competition is judged in 24 categories by industry experts.
